5K/ 5K Pole Operated Tungsten Fresnel

This 5K lamp is the full-size version not the compact one. Having a larger lens I think gives a nicer edge to shadows. If you've got the nerve there are some occasions when you can use this lamp direct, if you want some shadowy drama!

The pole operated version enables you to adjust pan, tilt, and focus from the studio floor, a great advantage when your hanging lights from the grid. The non pole operated version is better on a lighting stand.
