Arri Alura 45-250mm T2.6 Zoom Lens

Compatible Cameras: Sony F5/ F55/ F3, Arri Alexa, Arri Amira (PL), Red Dragon (PL)   with Adaptor: Sony FS7, Panasonic GH4

Our thoughts

The Arri Alura 45-450mm is the long version of the 18-80mm and is very similar in style. This is a really solid professional film style lens. Originally built to complement the Alexa it’s very nicely put together and also (unusually!) the focus scale is very accurate.
The lens is clean and sharp and is marked up in T stops, has a 2.6 aperture throughout its zoom range and has minimal breathing. This is a heavy professional film lens and therefore needs support, we supply it with supports for 15mm or 19mm bars.
Although people have been known to handhold cameras, with this lens you need to be pretty fit!

ARRI and FUJINON have joined their extensive expertise to create a completely new family of modern cine zooms. Using the latest in optical design technology and innovative manufacturing techniques, the ARRI Alura Zooms combine the highest optical performance with an amazingly small size, weight and price. They are available as Studio zooms for use on a tripod or crane with a wider focal range, or as lightweight zooms which are significantly smaller and lighter in exchange for a reduced focal range.

All Alura Zooms’ color characteristics, as well as their handling, are matched to existing prime lenses in ARRI’s outstanding repertoire

We are open for business but have altered the way we work to maintain a safe working environment. As a small but resilient company and we are always happy to tailor our services to your specific requirements.

Here is an update about the procedures and facilities we have put in place.

Studio 2 is now available for full 10-hour day hire only and comes with the the extra room above it as standard to accommodate extra crew numbers. Contact us for more details.

Our studios have fresh air ventilation systems which provide a constant supply of fresh air as opposed to a recirculation system. They are also quiet enough to run whilst recording sound

We have just installed a dual internet system that runs on fast 5G in addition to fibre broadband so that we can offer a very robust internet connection for live video streaming etc.

We can provide a reliable online video stream from the studios so that your client can monitor the shoot remotely

There is remote audio and video monitoring provided from the studio to the client room and both dressing rooms for Studio 1 and to the client room for Studio 2. Studio 1 also have a microphone set up in the green room so that you can communicate remotely via the PA

We have opened a roof garden in addition to the private yard so we can offer clients more outdoor ancillary space
